Travel Portraits 4

December 2025

Myanmar is probably my favourite of all the Asian countries to visit. It represents Asia of the past and the people are lovely. Their kindness and hospitality is genuine.

Its a shame the country is racked by war and corruption as the people deserve better.

The first portrait of the 5 girls is my favourite and reflects how lovely the people are. They were from a nearby village and were dressed up for a weekend outing visiting the viewspots of Bagan. Naturally being a helpful photographer in front of 5 beautiful women I offered my services. I even got one of the girls E mail and sent them the final image which they liked very much.

What you have pulled out of the underexposed shot in the dark shopping hall is little short of amazing. Great shooting and great after processing Chris.

Thanks Richard. The credit goes to the camera. Thats why I love full frame. More room for error…….
I mean , shooting at 6400 iso , underexposing and still getting adequate colour information with limited noise!
